Festival's audience award went in 2015 to “A light in the darkness” - a visual and musical performance by Tine Louise Kortermand. Tine Louise Kortermand received the prize of 25,000 kr. at a festive morning event in the festival's evocative cabaret tent, where a small glimpse of “A light in the darkness” also appeared.
Throughout the festival week, people in Odense and other festival guests have experienced Tine Louise Kortermands appearance in a disused storeroom in Vestergade 50. It is the guests, who has nominated the artist for the prize, and a jury of chief editor Per Westergaard, cultural editor Lene Kryger and chronicle editor and editorial writer Peter Hagmund from Fyens Stiftstidende, who has chosen the winner among the audience's suggestions.
Per Westergaard reasoned among others the choice of “A light in the darkness” with Tine Louise Kortermands ability to spin the social indignation into a poetic and fragile universe. The Clumsy Hans prize is not only for the outgoing and blast activities, it is also for the sensory experiences at the festival.
