By car, by bus, by bicycle or on foot.
It is easy to walk between the various festival venues through Odense's pedestrian-friendly streets. Many events take place outdoors, so you should also experience some fun surprises along the way, as well as being able to soak up the great festival atmosphere in the city centre. We recommend you to find your way around the festival area and venues by using the festival app.
Odense, like so many other parts of Denmark, is very bicycle-friendly. It's easy to get to the city centre by bike. We then recommend finding bicycle parking and moving around on foot, as the streets can be delightfully packed with festival goers, and you never know when you'll need to stop to take in the next surprise free show. If you don't have your own bicycle, you might like to try out a free city bike from City Bike from Cibi.
For the most up-to-date and comprehensive traffic and parking information for Odense, use "Getting around the city" provided by the Odense City Council. This local service provides complete information on the city's roadworks as we undergo our downtown transformation. Find your way to the centre and a carpark, then leave your car behind and enjoy the experience of moving around the festival area on foot. You can read more in our section dedicated to parking.
If you need to get to the centre of Odense by bus, you can find information, prices and plans on FynBus. Within the city / harbour area there also a FREE mini-bus circuit doing one-way loops. Look out for the hot-pink mini-buses with Route 10C (city) and Route 10H (harbour).
Route changes during the festival
Keep in mind that some bus routes may change during the festival due to temporary road closures. Make sure to double-check your route on FynBus.
