The artist group Piger og Drenge (Girls and Boys) have planted a tree. An interactive tree, which you can discover as it grows and grows in your mind, and share in their creative interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, The Tinderbox.

The tree is so big that you can walk through it. Here you can see and experience dogs with eyes as big as saucers, a millwheel and the famous round tower, as the adventure unfolds around you.

You can listen to the story in Danish or make use of headphones provided to hear the tale in German or English.
